Love2Live
Over 800 members of south SK communities have benefited through the Saskatchewan Blue Cross Love2Live Program at the Dr. Paul Schwann Center (DPSC), University of Regina since its launch in 2006.
“Being involved in a program that contributes to the health and wellness of Saskatchewan people is a perfect match to our corporate objectives,” says Saskatchewan Blue Cross President and CEO Arnie Arnott. “We are proud to assist ordinary people in making lifestyle changes that improve their health.”
The Love2Live healthy living program achieves results in two areas: 1) prevention for those at risk of developing heart disease and 2) functional improvement for those living with specific chronic diseases. The multi-disciplinary team at the DPSC provides personalized exercise programs and education sessions that assist participants in making positive changes.
Here’s what enthusiastic participants have to say about the program.

“I have been in the Love2Live program for a year now. … It is good to be pro-active regarding our health and well-being. I would highly recommend this program.” – Cara Driscoll
“I knew they would prescribe a program that would not aggravate my other health problems. And they monitor me closely, and correct me if I’m doing something wrong. It’s been a very good experience. I never thought I’d say that I look forward to exercise, but I do!” – Donna Harvey
“The classes are tailored to meet your specific needs including education and establishing safe exercise programs.… The fact of the matter is the Schwann program probably saved my life.” – Sandra Mattick
